When you are looking for a job you always need a few essential tools to help you out. Here are a few job search essentials:


Yes, this is a given but you need to remember having an updated, edited and polished resume is needed in order to be considered. You also need a well written coverletter to compliment your resume. Additionally, always keep an updated resume in pdf format on your smart phone ready to send when needed.

Having a smart phone is vital in your job search. Applying for jobs will be easier as well as connecting with possible employers. You also have a host of applications you download to help you edit your resume, applying for jobs and check out further job search resources.


Keeping a porfolio in pdf format and as a physical copy. This will come in handy when you meet prospective employers or new contacts.
