3 Tips to Being a Networking Pro (Pt.1)

If you are looking for a job, developing your network or simply trying to learn more–networking events are greats places to go to! However, you need to be ready. Here are 5 tips on being a networking pro.

1.Business Cards

Bringing business cards to a networking event is important! It is literary your calling card–keep it handy. Make sure you don’t hand it out to everyone…give it to those you have engaged with.


Bringing a physical copy of your resume is a good idea especially if you are looking for a job. Also, keep a digital copy ready to send if anyone ask for an emailed copy!

3.Pen and Paper

This is an oldie but a goodie! Write down information that you think is valuable to you. Always ask for permission though before jot anything down.
